Empowered Parents. Calm Homes. Confident Learners.
Parent of Preschooler–1st Grade Learning Guide
If preschool feels like it’s racing toward you…
You’re not behind. You just haven’t been given the right roadmap. Most parents feel one (or all) of these:
Preschool readiness isn’t built at a desk. It’s built in everyday play.
Before your child can sit still, hold a pencil, follow directions, or wave goodbye at drop-off, there are a handful of everyday skills they need to grow first. The good news? Every one of those skills is built through ordinary, playful moments — when you know what to look for.
That’s what this program shows you.
Three Simple Pillars That Build a Preschool-Ready Child
A clear, repeatable plan you can weave into the life you’re already living — no curriculum, no pressure, no guilt.
Foundations of Development
Understand the everyday building blocks that come before academics — strong bodies, steady focus, calm bodies, and small-but-mighty hand skills — so you stop guessing and start spotting little wins everywhere.
- Know what’s “on track” and what’s worth a closer look
- Read your child’s signals (and what they’re really asking for)
- Build body strength, hand skills, and focus through normal routines
Playing With Purpose
Turn the play that’s already happening on your living-room floor into the most powerful learning your child can do — in 15-minute pockets, with toys you already own.
- The secret to layering several skills into one activity
- Easy play ideas for hands, movement, and talking
- Screen-free options that don’t require Pinterest energy
Confident & Independent Learners
Build the “invisible” preschool skills — saying goodbye at drop-off, doing things on their own, following directions, and working through hard moments — so your child walks in the door feeling capable, not clingy.
- Simple scripts for hard goodbyes and big feelings
- Self-care wins: dressing, potty, opening a lunchbox
- How to step back so your child can step up

Meet Your Guide
Hi, I’m Michelle Critelli — a pediatric and school-based occupational therapist with 35 years of experience helping young children grow, learn, and thrive, and a mom of triplets who has been exactly where you are.
I built this program because I kept watching loving, capable parents arrive at drop-off with the same look in their eyes: “Did I do enough?” The answer was almost always yes — they just didn’t have the ideal framework to build on. My job is to give you that framework, the plan, and the confidence to keep going.
Over 35 years in pediatric clinics and school settings, I’ve used these strategies with my own triplets and hundreds of successful families just like yours. The strategies inside this program are the same ones I used at home and in practice — translated into plain language, simplified for real family life, and easy to use this afternoon.
What Parents Are Saying
Real words from families who walked this path.
I didn’t think we had the time or energy to prep for preschool, but working with Michelle made it so simple. My child gained skills like following directions, playing better with friends, and handling little day-to-day tasks they needed, and our home feels calmer and more organized. I’m so grateful!
Michelle Critelli’s experience and expertise in occupational therapy are exceptional. The recommendations she provided for my four-year-old’s sensory and handwriting challenges were practical, engaging, and easy to incorporate into our daily routine. Thanks to her support and thoughtful guidance, my child is truly thriving. I highly recommend Michelle’s services to any family seeking knowledgeable and compassionate care.
Michelle is more than an occupational therapist; she is a true partner in your child’s growth. She brings deep knowledge and experience, but what sets her apart is how much she genuinely cares. She supported my son with the same patience, compassion, and commitment she would give her own child, while also guiding us as parents every step of the way. Even years after working with my son, she continued to check in, offer thoughtful advice, and share helpful reading and resources. The relationships she builds are meaningful and lasting, and we are incredibly grateful for the impact she has had on our family.
